Are you looking for a meaningful way to part with your ATV, UTV, or side-by-side? At Penn Heritage Rides, we accept donations of various off-road vehicles to promote outdoor adventures in Pennsylvania. Many donors like you contribute their well-loved machines, whether it’s a rugged Honda FourTrax or a high-performance Polaris RZR. Your generous donation not only supports our mission but also offers you a chance for a tax deduction.
Picture this: a hardworking farmer in rural Pennsylvania, ready to upgrade their utility vehicle. Their trusty Yamaha Grizzly has served them well for years, but it’s time for it to help someone else explore the beauty of the Keystone State. By donating, you can ensure that your vehicle continues to bring joy and usefulness to others while supporting local heritage initiatives.

How pickup works
When you donate an ATV, UTV, or side-by-side, we ensure a hassle-free pickup process. Our team often uses a trailer or small flatbed trucks to transport your vehicle, especially for off-road-only models that may not have a title. In many cases, we can work with an MSO (Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin) bill-of-sale to complete the donation process, so there's no need to worry about lost titles. We coordinate with you to schedule a convenient pickup time, making it simple and efficient.
What drives donation value
The value of your donated ATV, UTV, or side-by-side can significantly depend on several factors. Generally, vehicles with higher operating hours rather than mileage on their 4-stroke engines tend to hold more value. For popular models like the Polaris RZR and Can-Am UTVs, their strong demand in the used market can make your donation especially valuable. Well-maintained equipment with documented service records will net a better return, while any dents or plastic fade may cause minor discounts. Even if your vehicle isn't running, parts value can still be a positive aspect of your donation.
Documentation you need
- Current title or MSO for off-road vehicles
- Bill-of-sale documentation
- Service records (if available)
- Appraisal for classic models (IRS Form 8283 Section B)
Pennsylvania specifics
In Pennsylvania, the rules surrounding ATV and UTV donations can vary based on whether your vehicle is titled or operates solely off-road. If your vehicle is not highway-legal, it may not require a traditional title, and we can accept it with an MSO bill-of-sale. Understanding the local DMV regulations will help ease the donation process, ensuring you receive all applicable tax benefits while supporting Penn Heritage Rides.
